AMPS Structure. Number:- 14

Central Committee (legislature)

The type of selection of the Central Committee (Legislature) in the AMPS structure has been discussed in detail. And this has also been discussed. What should be the qualification of the people who are the members of the Central Committee (legislature) of the AMPS structure?

A big question arises here. According to the tradition, it is very important to be a leader to become a member of the Central Committee (Legislative) of the AMPS structure. And if the AMPS structure does not find bonafide leaders capable of becoming members of the Central Committee, then what path should the AMPS structure adopt in that situation? So that the rules and regulations are followed and there is no violation of any kind.

And a Central Committee should also be formed. The dignity of the post of Purodha should also be maintained. And the propagation of the ideology of Anand Marg by AMPS organization can also go smoothly.

The operation of AMPS organization is based on three points.
1) Charya Charya. (is in writing)
2) Procedure Order. (is in writing)
3) Convention (which is not in writing. (The examples that Baba has set while running the AMPS organization during his tenure) which are not in writing in the Charya Charya and Procedure Order. But the Convention is also on Charya Charya and Procedure Order. It is based on but is unwritten.)

Baba set an example by running the organization from 1955 to 1990 without any priests. That became a convention for us. In this convention, neither the rules of conduct and procedure order were violated, nor the dignity of the post of priest was spoiled. That means the main criteria of Purodha were also followed. Baba also continued the process of becoming a Purodha as long as he remained in his physical body.

The post of Purodha holds great importance in AMPS organization. It is the responsibility of the pioneer head of AMPS organization to take care of its dignity.

*The main function of the Central Committee of the AMPS structure is to change, combine, or amend the rules of Charya Charya as necessary, based on the procedure orders and conventions of Baba's time.

*The work of the Central Committee will be in English language.

* Normally the Purodha Pramukh and the President of the Central Committee will be the same person. Then if the Purodha Pramukh wishes, he may not work as the President of the Central Committee. In this situation, the President of the Central Committee will be nominated by the Purodha Pramukh. And they will specify the tenure of the President.

*The President will constitute the Central Executive Committee as per his choice. If they wish, they will be able to include in the Central Executive Committee a maximum of three persons who are not elected members of the Central Committee.

*The maximum number of members of the Central Committee will be 60 . And the minimum will be 15.

*The President of the Central Committee will also determine the number of members of the Central Executive Committee as per his wish.

*The jurisdiction of the Central Committee will be of the whole world.

*The responsibility of the Central Committee is to spread the program of service for human welfare and the ideology of Anand Marg to the last person of the world.

*Central Committee is the highest policy making committee of AMPS organization.

*The Central Committee is responsible for supervising, following up and guiding the policies made by it in the entire organization.

*The Central Committee is also responsible for implementing the policy made by it through the Central Executive Committee.

*The Central Committee is also responsible for guiding and supervising all the departments and trades of the AMPS organization.

*If any member of the Central Committee violates the Code of Conduct, Procedure Order, or Conduct Rules, he may be referred to the President of the Central Committee, the Discipline Committee of the organization or his department or trade head.

*The Central Committee will decide its own meeting schedule.

*The meeting of the Central Committee will be held in English language.

*The Central Committee will be chaired by the President of AMPS himself.

*The agenda of the Central Committee will have to be approved by the President before the meeting. And then later it will be very important to get that agenda approved by the Purodha Pramukh.

*If a Central Committee member remains absent from three meetings without permission or for any important reason, his membership of the Central Committee will be suspended.

*Whatever final resolution is passed in the Central Committee meeting, will be out in front of all the members at the end of the meeting.

*The SS Sectoral Secretary of each sector will have to get the resolution passed in his Sectoral RDS approved by the Central Committee.

*Concerning will be from any sector in the Central Committee meeting. A copy of the same has to be provided to his SS Sectoral Secretary. And that SS Sectoral Secretary will have to keep its copy in his sectorial office. And then that SS Sectoral Secretary has to provide a copy of the same to his/her concerned Regional Secretary. Which they will keep as records in their regional office.

*Concerning SS Sectoral Secretary will read out the resolution passed in the Central Committee in his Sectoral.

RDS and Concerned RS Regional Secretary will read out the resolution passed in the Central Committee in the IRSS of his region.

Any resolution passed in the Central Committee gets approved by the Purodha Pramukh. He will have to accept the entire AMPS structure.

This comes to light after the above discussion of the Central Committee. That the Central Committee has a very important place in the structure of the AMPS organization. Because the Central Committee is the highest policy making committee of the AMPS organization. If the members of this Central* Committee Purodha and its Chairman Purodha Pramukh all meet the main criteria of Purodha. Have faith in God and ideals. Be committed to 100% adherence to the Charya Charya, procedure orders and conventions of Baba's time. Follow the conduct rules in your character. Do not be influenced by every narrow sentiment, linguism, regionalism, nepotism. The members of the Central Committee (Purodha Gana) should not establish themselves but intend to keep the mission (goal) of their life as establishing the good and its ideals. The progress of AMPS organization depends on these members of the Central Committee who are the pioneers. Therefore, it is very important for the leaders of the Central Committee to live up to the main criteria of leadership.
